Deutschland" als Volontär in Mocambique und Zimbabwe. Hier
engagiert Sie sich im Projekt Manica (Moçambique) als Handballtrainerin, gibt Englisch- und
Computerunterrichtseinheiten, darf aber auch das Clubhaus streichen,
Gemüse anpflanzen und das Brotbackprojekt in die Gänge bringen.

GERMAN PRECISION Through the years we’ve been fortunate to have very special
volunteers in Manica and the latest Muzungu to come and live in Manica
is no exception. A German, that basically showed up out of nowhere has
been living and working in Manica for the past three months. The name of
this visiting angel in disguise is: Wenke Boedefeld. Now I don’t know
many white, female angels from Germany sporting long black dreadlocks,
but if Wenke is anything to go by they aren’t half bad. Wenke helped to teach the Mozambicans English with a unique accent and spent hours getting the bakery on track. She organized and ordered things like only a German can and our kit and equipment has never been so sorted out! Wenke is also working on building a fantastic GDM website.
